Yes! We are a fully equipped machine shop and have the ability to perform standard Gunsmith services as well as Cerakote, Slide Machining & Optic Cuts, Laser Engraving, Electro Plating, etc.

When shipping what would be considered a firearm to us (if it has a serial number), we recommend www.shipmygun.com. You can select IslandFab from the FFLs and proceed with the process to get a label. If you have any questions, reach out to us or shipmygun.com.

When shipping what would be anything that is not considered a firearm (barrel, AR upper, handguard, pistol slide, etc), you can ship it any way you would like. If it fits in a USPS small flat rate priority box use that.

We carry most common reamers and tooling in stock. Our current on hand reamer list can be found HERE. We are always adding new calibers so if you don’t see your caliber, give us a call.

No. We do not custom chamber barrels for pre-fitting. The action must be supplied with the barrel. If you dont have an action yet, give us a call and we can discuss options with you and possibly get it for you shipped directly to us.

We do not have a list of currently available on hand Cerakote colors. We do however keep most common colors in stock at all times (Black, FDE, ODG, etc). If there is a color you want and we don’t have it, we end up ordering it anyways directly from Cerakote.

Yes but its only done during limited runs due to low demand.

Lead time depends on our current work load and the service you are getting done. Most jobs are completed within 2 weeks this includes barrel threading, cerakote, slide cuts, etc. Project based jobs are dependent on the project but typically run 3-4 weeks for most. If you would like an estimate of the current estimated lead time or when you can expect to have your item completed, just give us a call.
