Standard Caliber Based Threads (Excluding Metric or Left Hand)

If the barrel diameter is smaller than the minimum muzzle diameter we will thread to a secondary thread size and a shoulder would need to be added to keep the bore wall thickness at a recommended value. We typically use Precision Armament thread adapters and turn them down to match the barrel contour.

Example: 300 Win Mag Sportster Barrel muzzle diameter is .610. We would thread this to 9/16-24, add a shoulder and/or turn down an adapter to match giving you an end result of a 5/8-24 thread with a large enough shoulder and ample barrel thickness at the muzzle.
